Kathryn C. Nelson, Principal Attorney
A proud native of Northern California, Kathryn has lived and worked in the Sacramento community for the last decade. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Political Science at California State University, Chico, with an emphasis in Legal Studies. Kathryn went on to attend the highly respected McGeorge School of Law, where she was granted a Certificate in Taxation along with her Juris Doctorate degree.
Her passion and path in life is to be of service to others; this is the road that led her directly to estate planning and trust administration. She takes a highly personalized and compassionate approach to all aspects of her practice, one that aims to meet and transcend her clients’ needs and expectations.
Beyond her law practice, Kathryn is a dedicated yoga student and teacher in the Sacramento area. She strives to bring the same ethos of balance, service, and consciousness to all of her endeavors, both on and off the mat.

Carolyn M. Devon helps grieving families and professional fiduciaries navigate the challenges of estate administration. Her practice focuses on trust and probate administration, trustee and beneficiary advocacy, court petitions, and legal research on difficult estate planning and administration topics.
Carolyn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She has worked with the prestigious Wisconsin Innocence Project on high-profile DNA exoneration cases and earned top commendations for her arbitration skills at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong.
Fond of Northern California’s great outdoors, Carolyn enjoys kayaking and camping with her husband, daughter, and Golden Retriever.
